1. What we collect
When you use Forge, we collect:
- Account information (email address, name) when you sign up
- Design metadata sent to our analysis API — dimensions, materials, parameter names. We do not store raw CAD geometry or design files.
- Usage data — which features you use, how many reports you run
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Forge service — running intelligence reports, applying design fixes
- To improve our manufacturing intelligence — we may use anonymized, aggregated analysis data (never tied to your company or design) to improve recommendations
- To send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts)
3. What we don't do
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not store your CAD files or raw design geometry
- We do not share identifiable design data with any other company
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing
- Anthropic — AI analysis (design metadata is sent to Anthropic's API)
- Vercel — hosting
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@getforge.build.
